Dr. Curtis Hitt, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Urology and has been practicing with the Urology Team since 1978. He attended Southwestern Medical School and served his internship at St. Albans Naval Hospital in New York, New York. His residency was in Urology at the National Naval Center in Bethesda Maryland. He holds association memberships in the American Medical Association, the American Urological Association, the South Central Section of the American Urological Association, the Texas Medical Association, the Travis County Medical Society, and the Texas Urological Society. He served in the U.S. Marines and the U.S. Navy and retired as a Captain in the Navy Reserve. He has affiliations with all major hospitals in Austin.
Areas of Special Interest: Dr. Hitt has extensive experience with vasectomy, kidney stone disease and diseases of the prostate, benign and malignant. He is the Primary Investigator on selected Urology Research.
