Question:

When will you be allowed to use botox injections to treat overactive bladder?

Mary

Answered by Dr. Elizabeth Houser:

Dr. Elizabeth HouserBotox is now available for Overactive bladder but it is not FDA approved so patients have to pay for it and it is expensive. The Urology Team participated in a research trial in the attempt to get botox approved. Hopefully it will be approved soon.
