Mailbag: AMS LGX & CX Question
Question:
I have been reading about the procedure and the different implant cylinders. In your email you stated that you used the LGX cylinder versions by AMS. What about the AMS 700 CX series? I have read about this version and it seems to have a lot more plus that the other. Would you please give me your opinion on this Device. I continue to read and ask questions because I am very serious about having this procedure and I want the best.

Answered by Dr. Bryan Kansas:
I like the LGX as it can stretch w/ time and therefore give a better cosmetic (ie size) outcome. The CX is a good product as well. I only use this when someone has Peyronies disease (ie a bent penis) and I need to straighten it out during the case. This shouldn't be done w the LGX for fear of tearing the clothlike inner lining that allows the stretch to occur. I use about 95% LGX vs all other models.
