Dramatic progress has been made in the battle again Prostate Cancer but it is still the second
leading cause of cancer deaths - behind lung cancer - in men. Although not preventable, the
difference between life and death is often early detection and treatment of this disease.

To raise awareness during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, The Urology Team encourages
everyone to make a personal “I Will” commitment to talk to the men in your life about the
importance of screening and early detection. Your voice as a wife, sister, mother, brother, father, or friend can make a difference.
